We are seeking an experienced Finance Process Automation Team Leader to lead the end-to-end automation and re-engineering of Kaizens global Record-to-Report (R2R) Accounts Payable (AP) and broader FinOps functions. This role is central to building a hyperautomation-first finance operating model by leveraging RPA ETL AI/GenAI and advanced analytics to deliver scalable technology-enabled processes.
The ideal candidate combines strong finance process expertise with hands-on transformation leadership: able to design implement and scale intelligent automation solutions across jurisdictions while partnering closely with Accounting AP FP&A Tax Treasury IT Data and Operating Excellence teams. The role includes people leadership and driving adoption of new tools standards and ways of working across Finance.
As a Senior Finance Automation Team Leader you will:
R2R & AP Hyper-automation Transformation
- Own and deliver the automation roadmap for Global Accounting (R2R) and Accounts Payable (AP) identifying opportunities across the financial close and P2P cycles.
- Redesign and standardize finance processes to minimize manual work and enable scalable automation across jurisdictions.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics to measure automation impact efficiency gains and process quality.
Intelligent Automation Architecture (RPA ETL AI GenAI)
- Design and oversee automation solutions using RPA ETL pipelines and AI/GenAI applications to optimize finance workflows.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (including Agentic AI) to improve productivity insights and decision-making.
- Ensure automation governance auditability and compliance aligned with finance control frameworks.
Program Delivery Systems & Data Integration
- Lead automation programs in collaboration with IT and Data teams to integrate ERP systems and finance platforms.
- Improve data reliability and reconciliation accuracy through automated pipelines and monitoring dashboards.
- Support ERP upgrades and finance systems evolution with an automation-first mindset.
Team Leadership Standardization & Change Enterprise Finance Expansion
- Lead and mentor a small team of analysts while building internal automation capabilities within Finance.
- Drive adoption of digital tools and standardized processes across teams and stakeholders.
- Expand successful automation frameworks beyond R2R and AP into Treasury FP&A Reporting and Controls.
What you will bring
- 6 years of experience in Finance Transformation Finance Automation or Process Improvement roles with strong exposure to R2R and/or Accounts Payable environments.
- Proven experience delivering automation initiatives using RPA (e.g. UiPath or similar) and data automation tools (e.g. Alteryx or equivalent ETL platforms).
- Strong understanding of finance processes and controls (GL AP reconciliations reporting close cycle and P2P workflows).
- Experience working with ERP systems and BI/data platforms partnering with IT and data teams on system integrations.
- Practical knowledge of AI/GenAI applications in finance combined with a strong governance and control mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation projects influence stakeholders and drive change adoption across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and leadership skills with a continuous improvement and automation-first mindset.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
