Principal Engineer of SoCMCU Architecture

Reason for Hiring
We are looking for an experienced SoC Architecture Engineer for high performance SOCs & MCUs to support the Technical Project Leaders/Chip leads and SOC Architecture organization working closely with business product marketing system architects SOC design architects and designers software architects and developers.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to 

• Work as part of the SoC Architecture team to define SoC/MCU architectures and detailed technical specifications based on product requirements provided by business and product marketing teams.
• Collaborate closely with vertical SoC & MCU chip development and silicon design teams to ensure predictable on-schedule high-quality and first-time-right execution in alignment with business/customers product marketing program management manufacturing software functional safety (FuSa) cybersecurity and other relevant teams.
• Define own and deliver implementation specifications that meet product requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) including ensuring specification compliance across verification validation characterization and testing. Also responsible for reviewing outcomes to ensure full product compliance.
• Work in close partnership with R&D teams to define and refine SoC architecture based on challenges identified during the implementation phase.
• Lead IP selection and make-or-buy decisions as part of the architectural planning process.

Qualifications :

MUST

• Educational background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong background in system and architecture-level design is essential
• Minimum of 12 years of experience working across various architecture domains
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English

WANT

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) problem solving teamwork attention to detail commitment to task and quality focus
• Strong drive & ability to coordinate work across a cross functional highly experienced global teams
