As an Accounting Intern youll gain hands-on experience while supporting our Accounting Department with essential financial clerical and administrative tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world setting strengthen your skills and make a true impact from day one. You will be working out of our corporate office in Reading PA.
What Youll Do:
- Process checks deposits and credit card payments with accuracy and speed
- Follow established procedures to ensure receipts are handled efficiently
- Partner with the Customer Service Team to improve processes and deliver a seamless customer experience
- Reach out to customers for payment clarifications or missed payments
- Support daily operations with scanning organizing and cataloging documents
Qualifications
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software
- At least 1 year of education or experience in general accounting
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in databases spreadsheets internet and word processing tools
- A positive team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth-driven environment
