The processing operator operates and adjusts all process equipment for smooth and productive operations; monitors lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs; and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of plant operations and experience working around equipment is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos in to write accurate information on simple forms in to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations with all other employees of the organization in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Tools and equipment used are as follows: high pressure hoses shovels squeegee hammer and hazardous chemicals.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Most job functions are performed inside the peeler preheater and cutter areas. Constantly working on wet slippery floors. At times the temperature will rise to 100 degrees or over high humidity and lots of equipment vibration and noise.
QUALIFICATION PERIOD:
Not to exceed 60 shifts worked.
