Eby Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service department. This role is critical in delivering a smooth and transparent service experience for our customers. The right candidate will be professional detail-oriented and eager to provide exceptional customer care from check-in to vehicle delivery.
Greet customers promptly and courteously
Obtain vehicle and customer information accurately
Listen to customer concerns and clearly report all symptoms
Recommend appropriate maintenance based on vehicle age mileage and service history
Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts
Set up appointments establish follow-up times and maintain clear communication with customers
Coordinate loaner vehicles and verify insurance when needed
Monitor the status of each vehicle and update customers throughout the day
Ensure final invoices match the services performed and explain all work and charges
Work closely with technicians and parts staff to ensure a seamless repair process
Minimum of 1 year experience in a service department
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a service advisor assistant lane manager or service consultant
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
Ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
Proven track record of exceptional customer satisfaction
Positive friendly attitude with an energetic personality
Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
