Our team is responsible for building software in support of CoStar Groups sales teams. We think big building innovative CRM features that empowers our sales teams success. We are searching for an experiencedSeniorDatabase Developer to join our team and help us build the next generation ofCustomer Relations Managementtools at CoStar.We are a collaborative group with a mix of native mobile data API / platform and front-end skills and we are working to drive our companys future with our proprietary CRM system.

This position is located in Richmond VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work remote on Friday.

Responsibilities

Designing buildingtestingand deploying scalable reusable and maintainable applications that handle large amounts of data.
Taking full ownership of your workfrom development and testingto eventual deployment and support in production.
Collaborating with other engineers product owners designers and leadership.
Becoming a trusted team member in matters of technical architecture designand code.
Advocating for evolution and improvement - both technical and non-technical - within our teams. Includes new techtoolsand best practices.

Base Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from an accredited not-for-profit university or college
5years of experience troubleshooting common database issues
5experience in developing implementing and optimizing views stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Familiar with tools that can aid with SQL profiling / Performance Tuning
Expertiseindatabase design complex T-SQL programming performance tuning and index analysis
Facilitate discussions among database developers to exchange ideas and introduce new database technologies
A track record of commitment to prior employer

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
Strongcommunication skills (to both business and technical partners)
Knowledge of advanced SSIS concepts to handle complex tasks like importing large files loading data in a database etc.
