Job Opportunity: Project Manager Location: Bay Pines FL
Start Date: April 1 2026
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Make a Difference for VeteransFrench Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to support EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center. This is a full-time on-site role serving as the primary Point of Contact to the VA Contracting Officers Representative. Your work will directly support healthcare infrastructure improvements benefiting thousands of veterans and their families.This is an excellent opportunity for a construction or project management professional with federal DOD or VA experience who thrives in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.What Youll Do- Project management of all professional and technical services related to the VA design and construction delivery process
- Proactively help to resolve problems and minimize claims taking all reasonable measures to anticipate problems and delays and to minimize or eliminate their adverse impact on project completion
- Take the initiative and act to mitigate circumstances that could lead to claims resolve conflicts promptly and keep the Government advised of any potential disputes
- Review schedules and adjust based on the progress of work and make specific recommendations for prioritizing and accelerating critical path items
- Facilitate manage and document all project meetings to keep stakeholders and integrated project team members informed
- Manage construction and construction administration documents correspondence and as-builts

- An effective communicator who can represent the VAs interests clearly and professionally with all stakeholders
- Mission-minded and committed to quality outcomes that serve the veteran community
- Comfortable operating independently as the on-site lead while coordinating with a distributed government and contractor team
QualificationsEducation- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Project Management or Construction Management
- PMP or FAC-PPM certification plus additional 5 years of relevant experience may substitute the degree requirement
Experience- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience. Relevant experience includes experience with:
- Hospital IT/Low Voltage Infrastructure construction or maintenance; EHRM systems experience preferred
- Healthcare infrastructure design and construction
- Campus site infrastructure including utilities roadways and parking; Florida-specific project experience preferred
- Infection control during construction within active hospital settings
- Project phasing to maintain hospital operations and minimize disruption to patients and staff
- Commissioning hospital infrastructure systems
- Familiarity with ASHRAE NFPA Florida Building Code NEC and VA Design Guides/Manuals preferred
- Experience developing and controlling budgets and funding strategies
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating project activities among existing and newly occupied facilities
- Experience in quality management planning and implementation
- Ability to integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes
Certifications & Clearance- OSHA 30 certification within the last 5 years
- Must be a United States citizen and obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI) and VA PIV card
