Job Summary
Mid-Level Bankruptcy Litigation Associate - Wilmington DE
Ice Miller LLP is seeking a mid-level Bankruptcy Associate to join our growing Wilmington DE office. This role offers the opportunity to support a sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring practice handling complex matters for national and regional clients. The associate will work closely with senior attorneys on complex bankruptcy proceedings representing a broad range of stakeholders including debtors secured lenders creditors committees and unsecured creditors. Matters routinely involve high-stakes litigation and contested issues in Chapter 11 cases.
The ideal candidate will have experience:
- Supporting complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for national and regional clients
- Representing debtors secured lenders creditors committees and unsecured creditors
- Drafting pleadings motions and related filings and participating in court proceedings
- Collaborating with attorneys across offices and practice groups on restructuring matters
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Three to seven years of bankruptcy or restructuring experience within a law firm environment
- Experience in Chapter 11 matters and creditor-side representation
- Strong drafting research and analytical skills
- Delaware bankruptcy experience
- A J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing bar admission to the Delaware state bar
