About the role:
As a Senior Business Recruiter at Samsara you will be responsible for attracting and hiring diverse highly qualified candidates while driving a consistent and inclusive recruiting process. You will serve as a talent advisor to the business managing complex hiring needs by volume level or expertise across multiple job families. You will proactively identify risks that impact hiring managers and use a data-driven approach to evaluate challenges and drive desired outcomes.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area NYC Metro Area and Washington D.C. Metro Area.

In this role you will:
- Manage complex hiring needs and collaborate with leadership to integrate strategic planning and data-driven insights.
- Drive cross-functional process improvements and solve problems with complex scope by identifying data-driven solutions with minimal guidance.
- Partner with stakeholders to build consensus influence decisions and resolve process inefficiencies.
- Leverage talent insights and market data to act as a thought partner to hiring managers driving compelling candidate offers.
- Champion equity and impact efforts at every stage of the recruiting process including bias recognition and mitigation.
- Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related recruiting experience.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to apply sound judgment to resolve problems with complex scope using data and anecdotes to deliver customized solutions.
- Strategic Partnership: Experience building trust with senior leaders and advising them on building talent strategies to solve business problems.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to run analysis to address hiring opportunities and make informed decisions for long-term process improvements.
- Complexity: Experience working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
