Cleveland Clinic Floridais looking to add a Department Manager I to the team who will oversee the entire ambulatory footprint for Weston Hospital along with twoWeston Medical Office Buildingswith providers fromvariedspecialties including Cancer Neurology Cardiology and this role you willstandardizeworkflowstoreduce barriers toachievingmetrics involve yourself in caregiver escalations and work through HR processesregardingstaffingperformanceand patient will be your goal to ensure that caregivers and providers have the support tools and resources to help meet patient needs requiring this caregiver to be emotionally intelligentwanting change and driven for results. Through this opportunity you will find various development programs and courses allowing you to expand your breadth of capabilitiesat an elite healthcare organization.

A caregiver in this position worksMonday-Fridayfrom 8:00AM 5:00PM.Availability to virtually support teams on Saturdays will be as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Manage department operations and personnel.

  • Complete staffing training workflowanalysisand performance management.

  • Manage staffing to ensureappropriate allocationand compliance with goals andobjectives.

  • Monitor quality and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with government health regulations JCAHO guidelines qualityrequirementsand customer service standards.

  • Recommend enhancement andcost-savingstrategies.

  • Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in qualityprocedureand policy application.

  • Develop monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service developskillsand improve scope of service.

  • Analyze programs and make improvements.

  • Participate in manager meetings and relevant committees as assigned by Director.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • AssociatesDegreeand three years of team leadsupervisoror manager experience

  • ORHigh School Diploma/GED and five years of experience

  • ORBachelors Degreeand one year of experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Health Administration Business Administration or a related field

  • Healthcare experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.

  • May require extended periods of sitting standing and walking.

  • Must be able to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range.

  • Ability to clearly communicate by phone and in person.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures
