Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Developer to join our growing technology team in a fully remote this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable platform solutions that support internal systems applications and enterprise services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in platform architecture cloud technologies automation and backend development with a passion for building reliable infrastructure that supports modern applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering DevOps product management and security to deliver robust platform capabilities that enhance performance scalability and operational efficiency.

Candidates must reside in the United States and possess a valid U.S. work permit.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development & Engineering

* Design build and maintain scalable platform services that support internal and external applications.

* Develop backend services APIs and integration frameworks that enable efficient data flow across systems.

* Implement platform features that improve application reliability performance and scalability.

* Build reusable platform components and shared development frameworks.

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

* Work with cloud platforms such as **AWS Azure or Google Cloud** to deploy and maintain infrastructure.

* Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning deployments and monitoring.

* Support containerization and orchestration technologies such as **Docker and Kubernetes**.

* Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines.

System Integration & Performance

* Integrate enterprise systems third-party services and APIs.

* Monitor platform performance and implement improvements for scalability and stability.

* Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical solutions.

Security & Compliance

* Ensure platform development follows **security best practices and compliance standards**.

* Implement identity management authentication and authorization mechanisms.

* Work with security teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain secure system architecture.

Collaboration & Documentation

* Collaborate with product managers engineers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.

* Document platform architecture APIs and development standards.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in **Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or related field**

* **36 years of experience** in platform development backend engineering or infrastructure engineering

* Strong proficiency in programming languages such as **Java Python Go or **

* Experience building **RESTful APIs and microservices architectures**

* Hands-on experience with **cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)**

* Knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and automation tools**

* Experience with **containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)**

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with **platform engineering frameworks or internal developer platforms**

* Familiarity with **Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation or similar)**

* Knowledge of **observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana or Datadog**

* Experience working in **Agile or Scrum development environments**

* Background in **enterprise platform or SaaS infrastructure development**
