Under the direction of the primary care operations team the Primary Care Patient Certified MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe timely effective efficient equitable patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Certified MA will partner with patients providers and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.Position Details:
Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferably in a primary care office.
Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA CCMA CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
LPN Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
Licensure: Active LPN licensure
Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience preferably in a primary care office
