The PTCMarketing teamis looking for an ambitiousStartup Business DevelopmentLeadto join ourPTC Startupteam in a high impact role.The Startup ProgramBusiness DevelopmentLead will work on recruiting and enabling high-potential startups to usePTCs industry-leadingsoftwareas well as expanding our VCsand Incubators ecosystem.The personwill help scale thePTC for Startupsprogram across marketing partnerships operations onboarding and customer success.Youllbe responsible forensuring that the best startups globally are aware ofthe program apply and grow into long-termPTCcustomers.Youwill work closely with cross functional organizations including salesoperations finance marketing productmanagementand finance to drive great outcomes for startups in thePTCecosystem.

Candidates who excel in the role will be well positioned to accelerate their trajectory and growth at PTC.

This role requires in-person attendance inour Boston office on a hybrid basis.

Day-To-Day:

  • Manage and track inbound requests and applicationsto thePTCstartup program

  • Identifyhigh-potential startups and ensure startups in our ecosystem are equipped to succeed

  • Oversee health monitoring usage optimization and expansion into other products.

  • Analyze internal and external data to improve operational efficiency andoptimizeprogram outcomes

  • Drive awareness and demandofPTCs startup programfromVCs Incubators and Startup founders.

  • Coordinate andparticipatein virtual and in-person startup ecosystem events

  • Refine andmaintaincommunications around the startup program to relevant internal teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree(engineering degreepreferred)

  • 3 years of sales business development strategic partnerships sales leadership managementconsultingor program/product management experience

  • Experience working at a startup investment firm or startup program-focused role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortablewithambiguity and change

PreferredQualifications:

  • Bachelorsin mechanical engineering.Mechanical engineeringknowledgeand/orexperience

  • A startup ecosystembuilderwho understands founders accelerators and VCs ideally with a similar startup program as a VC founder or startup employee

  • Operational savviness ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously while focused on execution and results

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior leadership on programobjectivesgoalsand metrics

  • Self-startermentality

PTC carefully considers a widevarietyof factorswhendeterminingcompensation.Theanticipatedannual salary range for this positionisbetween$95000 - $115000.The salary rangereflectsa good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.Actualcompensationmay vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and location. Additionally candidates may be eligible fora performance-basedbonus.Employeesalsohavethe opportunity tobecome a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program(ESPP)which allowsfor thepurchaseofdiscounted PTC stock.Certainrolesmay also be eligible forparticipation in ourequity programs.Employees may be eligible for medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and sick leave tuition reimbursement 401(k) contributions and employer match flexible spending accounts life insurance disability coverage andif you are an office-assigned employeea generous commuter subsidy.All total rewards and benefits programs are subject to applicable planeligibilityand otherterms and conditions.
