Peckham Inc. - Food Services Prep II

• Hours: Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 2:30pm

SUMMARY

The Food Services Prep II supports and leads daily kitchen and café operations including food preparation service food safety compliance inventory support and team coordination. This role ensures all food is prepared according to health code standards and recipes while maintaining a clean efficient and customer-focused environment. The Food Services Prep II may serve as lead staff in the absence of a supervisor or manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and production schedules
• Assist with café and catering food preparation
• Set up and maintain lunch service line ensuring proper sanitation and supplies
• Follow all food safety sanitation and hygiene standards (SERV Safe required)
• Cook food to required temperatures and properly label date and store items
• Assist with inventory stock rotation (FIFO) and receiving deliveries
• Support menu planning and preparation for upcoming service
• Maintain clean workspaces equipment and service areas
• Assist with cashiering and café support as needed
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Serve as acting lead when needed
• Other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Exceptional customer service to interact with a wide variety of customers
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to prioritize organize and follow through on work assignments
• Ability to function independently for certain tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 months experience as Food Services Prep I
