Overview
Prepares measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal state local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.
Position Details:
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine.
Licensure: If practicing in Arkansas a Nuclear Medicine Technologist License is required.
Experience:
Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT(N) Registry or Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 2 months of eligibility)
Other: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science - Nuclear Medicine Technology
Preferred Licensure:
Preferred Experience: 1 yr experience
Preferred Certifications:
Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred.
