You will conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help reduce incidents assist staff and visitors with directions and service needs and communicate clearly while documenting security-related activity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disruptive behavior access concerns and requests for assistance from clinical and administrative teams.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access points by monitoring entrances checking credentials as directed and directing visitors to the appropriate destinations while following location protocols.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents patrol findings and unusual activity and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• This position is in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
• This position is in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• This position requires the ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
