As a High School Intern at Axon youll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business through meaningful hands-on projects and valuable networking opportunities. During this 8-week program youll collaborate with industry professionals contribute to real-world initiatives and develop technical and professional skills that will help shape your future in STEM. Axon offers several specialized internship tracks allowing students to pursue opportunities aligned with their interests whether in engineering and prototyping quality systems and compliance or global security and operations. Each track provides focused hands-on experience while contributing to active business priorities.

What Youll do

Throughout the program interns will:

• Work with different teams across the company to support innovative projects and real-world problem solving.
• Support real projects that teams are actively working on including product development research initiatives process improvements or operational programs depending on track placement.
• Gain hands-on experience with Axon technologies tools and systems.
• Develop technical skills in areas such as engineering data analysis compliance research or security operations.
• Participate in mentorship and professional development sessions designed to build communication collaboration and workplace readiness skills.
• Network with professionals across engineering product operations and business teams to explore potential education and career pathways.
• Work alongside a dedicated site lead as well as a cohort of fellow high school interns in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

What You Bring

• Sharp thinking and curiosity. You ask thoughtful questions explore new ideas and arent afraid to challenge yourself or the status quo.
• Adaptability and resilience. Youre open to feedback willing to learn from mistakes and ready to grow in a fast-moving environment.
• Unstoppable drive to learn. Whether through school work community or personal projects you actively seek opportunities to build skills and make an impact.
• You have an interest in or curiosity in STEM (engineering computer science robotics math physics or related coursework). This interest may come from classes clubs personal projects community programs or self-directed learning.
• You are currently a junior or senior attending a high school in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale AZ area (Graduating Seniors eligible).
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Comfort working both independently and in team-based environments
• No prior professional work experience is required we value curiosity initiative and a willingness to learn.
