VACANCY: ECD COORDINATOR (Social Worker)

Little Seeds Unit for ECD a joint initiative of Badisa and Diaconia situated in Stellenberg Western Cape invites applications for a dynamic and experienced ECD Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership programmatic and compliance oversight to our Daycare and After School Care centres as well as the Daymother Programme.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes and legislative compliance; Compile and submit quarterly reports; Oversight of financial management and Human Resource processes; Facilitate centre registrations and liaise with municipalities and WCED; Coach and mentor Programme Managers and Management Boards; Develop and present training workshops including in-service training and assessments; Build and maintain strong stakeholder networks.

Requirements / Competencies:

Bachelors degree in Social Work; Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP); Valid drivers licence; Strong administrative report-writing and computer skills (MS Office); Sound knowledge of ECD legislation; Proven experience in programme management compliance and training; Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Renumeration will be in accordance with Badisa / Little Seeds salary scale and experience.
