Job Summary
SO2 Relocations works in DARRs Op LAZURITE Relocations Team to formulate develop and deliver MOD and x-Gov policy to facilitate the relocation of ARAP EPs. The role requires close liaison with all functional pillars in DARR with other MOD branches (e.g. DI) and Other Government Departments (OGDs) to inform and advise x-HMG activity.
1. Provide direct support and military advice to SO1 Relocations and AH(Mil) Relocation supporting Deputy Director Relocations and Programme Director Delivery for ARP pipeline delivery.
2. Be principal POC that coordinates and delivers facilitation activity and maintains 24/7 access to in-country team contractor. Undertake contract monitoring and assurance activity with third party contractor (contract award pending).
3. Deputise for SO1 Relocations and represent AH(Mil) Relocations as required; conduct Operational engagement and liaison with other MOD Departments and OGDs.
4. Liaison with DARR Relocation & Eligibility pillars to enable time sensitive operational decision-making.
5. Lead Operational Record Keeping (ORK) and Operational Analysis for Relocation pillar; assist SO1 Relocations in maintaining the STEELBACK compartment
6. Draft and contribute to Ministerial Submissions (MinSubs); SME advice is required at short notice to produce and develop route development options.
7. Conduct crisis planning and delivery of contingent operations as required.
8. Act as 1RO and 2RO as required by the JIATF MS Organisation.
