Job Summary
Your mission
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in high-quality technical advisory tasks related to pre-sale BESS activities.
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines (ESS electric mechanical civil and control scheme) and serving as a project liaison.
- Reviewing project conceptual designs detailed designs and suggesting technical improvements for ESS projects.
- Assisting in the preparation and management of specifications tendering processes negotiations and battery storage system plant selection.
- Conducting due diligence for ESS projects and supporting customers and lenders throughout the financial close process.
- Gaining knowledge of renewable generation utility network connection quality studies and PCS dynamic performance approval processes.
Your profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field with a preference for electrical engineering.
- An interest in BESS technology and prior exposure to European BESS technology is a plus.
- A solid understanding and enthusiasm for BESS technologies including emerging trends and the international market landscape.
- Experience in providing technical advice to investors and project developers with exposure to BESS plant design and technical advisory support.
- Exposure to international solar PV or hybrid project development and delivery is a bonus.
- Proven ability to communicate technical reviews effectively with clients and various project stakeholders including utilities BoP EPC etc.
- Proficiency in Eastern European languages English at least at C1 level and knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in software tools such as PowerFactory PSCAD Python and VBA for technical analysis and modeling would be a plus
