THE ROLE
We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel for a crypto trading firm based in Zurich this role the Junior Legal Counsel will support the business in the drafting review and negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and a broad range of commercial contracts within the digital assets and trading ecosystem. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft review and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with counterparties vendors liquidity providers technology partners and institutional clients
- Provide legal support on a variety of commercial agreements including NDAs service agreements brokerage agreements and partnership agreements
- Identify assess and mitigate legal and operational risks in commercial arrangements
- Ensure contractual frameworks align with applicable Swiss regulations and relevant international standards in the crypto and financial services sector
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to streamline contracting processes and enhance legal templates where necessary
- Support ad hoc legal matters and internal projects as required during the engagement
YOUR PROFILE
- Fully qualified lawyer (Swiss or EU qualification preferred)
- Relevant professional experience ideally within financial services fintech or crypto/digital assets
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating MSAs and complex commercial agreements
- Strong understanding of Swiss contract law; familiarity with financial market regulation and crypto-related legal frameworks is an advantage
- Business-oriented mindset with strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced high-growth environment
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English; German is an asset
