TheAssistant FootballCoachis responsible forhelping tobuild recruit andmaintaina competitivefootballprogramon the Raymond Campusconsistent withall ofthe goals of Hinds Community College and the policies and procedures outlined in the Athletic Department Handbook.

Education:Bachelorsrequired;Mastersdegree preferred
Experience:5-7years of competitivecollegecoaching experience.
Certificate/License:Familiar with MACCC and NJCAA governing rules
EDUCATIONAND/OREXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree;Mastersdegree preferred.
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIESnot limited to the following but mayinclude:
Maintainknowledgeofdiversity-relatedissueslegislationandbestpractices.
Adhere to Hinds Community College MACCC and NJCAA policies and procedures
Provide game & practice film analysis with offensive/defensiveand film breakdown of opponents defensive/offensivetendencies.
Develops substitution game plan with staff and preparesdaily-weeklydepth chart with staff.
Coordinatesoffensive/defensiveadjustments on sideline & halftime.
Prepares offensive/defensivescouting report with staff in season breakdown film fronts & stunts blitz chart twodeep andcoverages.
Submits offensive/defensivegame planfinalizedwith offensive/defensivestaff and Head Football Coach.
Offensive/defensivebench organization and game day organization with Head Coach.
Grades position players stats qtr.splayed with assistant coaches.
Coordinates the coaching staff andassiststhe players with academic matters with HeadFootball Coach Compliance Coordinator and Student Success Center Staff.
Reviews academic reports from academic advisingoffice.Helpsmonitoracademic eligibility.Contactsstudent athletes who need summer credits & meet with academic advisor for mid-term and final grade reports.
Keeps players and staff notified and up-to-date information of all important academic events
Recruitslocal area by travel phonemailand electronic communication.
Recruits out of state/area viatravelphonemailandelectronic communications.
Evaluates offensive/defensivefilm for potential recruits.
Hosts and tour prospects and parents for visits.
Compiles list of potential recruits andmonitorstheir admissions status
Assistsathletic department with annual fundraising
Assists Head Football Coach with game travel.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Athletic Director
