Duties:
The successful candidate will teach a survey course and an advanced course in their area of expertise sharing responsibilities for teaching Introduction to Psychological Science Basic Statistics Research Methods and other courses as needed. An ideal candidate should be able to offer a course that intersects their expertise with the Colleges Health & Human Performance program and also develop an active program of research involving undergraduates. This full-time faculty position involves a 3-3 course load with courses meeting for 180 minutes each week.
A Ph.D. or ABD with a Masters degree is required at the time of appointment.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching within a liberal arts context and who have experience serving as the instructor of record for college-level psychology courses.
