Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Auto Site in Woodstock AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service while performing access control duties at an automotive manufacturing and/or corporate location following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
- Control entry and exit for employees contractors vendors and visitors by checking identification issuing temporary credentials maintaining visitor logs and directing traffic to approved areas.
- Monitor gates doors and/or access points operate access control systems and report irregular activity that may help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter routes documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
