Job Summary:

Responsible for identifying opportunities for business expansion in support of customer sales strategy for supplier offerings. Implementation of the overall web applications architecture with a focus on zero-defect and scalability.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Identifies and creates the architecture design development implementation of new software features and systems
• Implements the overall web applications architecture with a focus on zero-defect and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers on feature definition clarifications
• Translate product requirements into a maintainable and scalable architecture
• Design and develop mission-critical systems delivering high-availability and performance
• Design code and integrate application business layer with external application components
• Interact with customers and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology
• Responsible for delivering zero defect code and insure service level agreements (SLA)
• Coordinate continuous integration activities testing automation frameworks and other related items in addition to contributing core product code
• Researches and present technical solutions capabilities considerations and features in business terms.
• Communicate status issues and risks in a precise and timely manner on design
• Assists and/or develops and/or executes implementation according to project plans and priorities
• Stays abreast of changing technology of products competitors and software advancement
• Other duties as assigned

• Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts techniques and standards.
• Develops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.
• Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.
• Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies plans and long-range objectives.
• Actions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.

Work Experience:

• Typically 8 years with bachelors or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• CS Fundamentals required
• Experience with Heroku Javascript ES6 React Google Cloud Platform Amazon Web Services (EC2 or S3) PostgreSQL BigQuery
