As a Security Officer - Secure Entry Desk in Walton KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a busy retail and/or mall location you will greet visitors verify credentials manage entry points and document activity while maintaining a visible presence. You will communicate clearly with guests tenants and management helping to discourage security-related incidents and support smooth daily operations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification managing visitor and/or vendor check-in issuing temporary credentials when authorized and maintaining required logs.
• Monitor doors loading areas and access-controlled spaces using visual observation and available systems reporting irregular activity and/or policy concerns through proper channels to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards and/or unusual conditions per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
