Description

As a HSE II-Safety/Industrial Hygiene here at Honeywell you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health safety and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of safety within the organization. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of safety programs and initiatives that protect our employees and the environment.

You will report directly to our Sr HSE&F Manager and youll work 100% onsite out of our Phoenix Arizona location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements and maintains company policies adhering to local state and federal environmental health and safety regulations
  • Completes incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCCAs)
  • Manage IH and Safety Programs including but not limited to Exposure Assessment Respiratory Protection Ergonomics
  • Hazardous Chemical Management and Hearing Conservation
  • Involved in the design and development of facilities work areas and work procedures and makes environmental health and safety recommendations accordingly
  • Responsible for preparing maintaining and updating safety and industrial hygiene policy and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization
  • Serves as contact with all federal state and local regulatory bodies
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts practices and procedures within the Aerospace field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Relocation support may be provided




Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in Health Safety and Environmental practice
  • High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Health Safety Environmental Industrial Hygiene or related discipline
  • Experience with environmental programs (Fall Protection PPE Radiation and Laser Lock- Tag Try Confined Space Machine Guarding Emergency Planning)
  • Experience with OSHA safety regulations
  • Holds Associate Safety Professional Certification
  • Experience with Industrial Hygiene Practices
  • Experience with event tracking systems such as MST Enablon or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Access and Visio
