What You Will Do
Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines (chopping slicing dicing marinating portioning etc.)
Label and date all prepared items using FIFO standards
Assist with batch cooking sauces dressings and side items
Ensure all prep lists are completed before service begins
Maintain consistent portion sizes and quality control standards
Keep a clean organized workstation and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist line cooks during peak service and restock stations as needed
Help receive and properly store deliveries; rotate stock and monitor shelf life
Communicate product shortages or concerns promptly to the Kitchen Manager
Youll Know Youre a Good Fit for This Position If You Have...
Previous kitchen or food prep experience (preferred)
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
The ability to follow directions and standardized recipes carefully
Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
The ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs
Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
