Property Accountant

Seldin Company is seeking a Property Accountant at our Corporate office in Omaha NE or a remote work opportunity available if located outside of Omaha NE. Remote candidates will only be considered if currently located in one of the following States:
Nebraska Iowa Missouri South Dakota Illinois Wyoming Montana Texas North Carolina Alabama Wisconsin New Mexico or Oklahoma. *After 90 days of satisfactory employment this position can offer a flexible work schedule.
This position will pay up to $25.00 an hour determined by experience certifications skills and education.

What You Will Do

The Property Accountant has primary responsibility for the accurate timely and complete preparation of all required financial information for an assigned portfolio of properties. This includes the timely identification and communication of issues relating to their properties. Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Processing data requests/corrections preparing various accounting statements and reconciliations drafting property budgets and working with and preparing audit packages for external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of related experience and/or training are strongly preferred
• Experience in the real estate/property management industry is a plus

• Advanced experience with Excel
  
  

Education Licenses or Certificates Required:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
