Job Summary
The Test Engineering team designs assembles and validates test solutions to be used in T&M Manufacturing facilities to test NI products at various stages of their assembly process. We are seeking a Test Engineering intern who will work with our Test Engineers to assist with the design of these automated test join our team!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
- Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
- Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
- Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution
Who You Are:
You are passionate about learning about and working with test industry technologies. You are a quick learner with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed. You work effectively in a group environment problem-solve and diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions.
For this Role You Will Need:
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW TestStand Python)
- Analog signal considerations
- Sources of measurement error
- Appropriate selection of instrumentation
- Statistical analysis of data
- Integration of hardware and software
- Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
- Experience with high frequency circuit design RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
