Skipper

Huon is seeking a self-motivated Skipper to lead our vessel operations and crew at Hideaway Bay on a 7 on 7 off roster.

The role

As a Skipper you will be responsible for the operation upkeep and maintenance of vessels under 24 meters alongside leading a crew and ensuring compliance with work procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining vessels and shipboard equipment
• Mooring pens towing net installation/removal and grid maintenance
• Managing refuelling operations loading/unloading vessels and operating cranes and forklifts
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and completing necessary documentation

Located near Dover you will be working a 7 on 7 off roster.

About you

• A minimum Master >24m NC and Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 (MED 3) with relevant experience
• Strong time management attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• A proactive focus on improving processes and committing to self-development
