What Were Looking For
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine Emergency Medicine or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 25 years of post-residency clinical experience with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting and in reading EKGs and X-rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
Your Role
As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth youll independently provide a wide range of clinical services including:
- Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
- Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
- Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
- Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs including remote supervision and credentialing support
- Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced patient-focused setting
