Sony Corporation of America (SCA)is seeking anIntern Security Architectureto join theCorporate Information Security Division (CISD)organizationinReston VAfor the2026 summerinternship position willbe a part oftheteamresponsible forestablishinga unified enterprise security architecture to secure Sonys information assets services and the products that depend on them building trust with customers and stakeholders and protecting the privacy of Sonys customers and employees.

The internwill have the opportunity to directly contribute andassistwith projects associated with cloud-based applications across all typesincludingInfrastructure Platform and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) an enterprise-wide email security architecture and global data those interested in pursuing a career in cyber security security architecture and security engineering on a global scale.

TheCISDsummer internship program is designed to provide skills knowledge and hands-on work experience in the information security and privacy industry supporting the personal growth of our interns as well as Sony business results.

This 12week summer internship runs from June through August and offers flexibility to work either hybrid or fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Assistwithimplementing Security Architecture methodologies in areas of network cloudendpointand email.

• Assistin the development and designof security best practices.

• Assistwithimplementation of security principles across the organizationin ordertomeet business goals along with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Assistwithdocumentingthecurrent state and ideal stateofSecurityReferenceArchitecture.

• Supportdevelopment and refinement of global information security technical standards guidelines and training.

• Research and assess emerging technologies industry standardsregulationsand threats.

• Honesty trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above.

Qualifications:

• Current student pursuing abachelorsdegree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Preferred educationinComputer Science Information Systems Information Security or Information Assuranceorrelated field with strong academic performance
