DUTIES:
*Serve as the manager for the agencys Utilization Review and Medicaid reimbursement programs and directly supervise a team.
*Provide final clinical oversight for the Utilization Review process.
*Lead healthcare related projects from inception to completion. Develop efficient workflows for health services projects.
*Medicaid revenue cycle and discal oversight in alignment with LB921 and state mandates.
*Translate raw Utilization review data into strategic initiatives.
*Continuous quality improvement and data analytics.
*Serve as primary point of contact between Utilization Review operations and external partners.
*Policy development and regulatory compliance.
*Supervise CQI team.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business or public administration social/behavioral sciences education health sciences public health education law or related field and one year experience in program planning implementation budgeting monitoring evaluating marketing a program or service and supervising/managing staff. Related coursework training and/or education may substitute for the bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis. Requires an applicant to possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of supervisory experience. Advanced experience with Excel Smartsheet and other databases. Corrections experience desired. Experience with American Correctional Association standards.
Other: Valid drivers license required. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical examination and a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Pre-service Training Program.
