Job Summary
Machine Maintenance Technician
Location: Toledo OH
Pay: Starting at $25/hr with weekly pay
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift available
1st shift: Monday- Friday 5am-3:30pm with OT Saturday 6:30am- 1:30pm
2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2pm-12am with OT Saturday when needed
Responsibilities
- Diagnose repair and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and heavy equipment
- Maintain and repair conveyors grinders separators and other processing machinery
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG and stick as needed)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components motors switches and control systems
- Perform pipefitting tasks including hydraulic pneumatic and fluid lines
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain maintenance logs and work order documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in an industrial setting
- Experience working on forklifts conveyors and heavy machinery
- Welding experience required
- Pipefitting experience (hydraulic pneumatic or process piping)
- Ability to read manuals schematics and basic drawings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor/industrial conditions
