Job Summary:The Executive Director of Scholarship Oversight and Enrollment Finance provides strategic leadership and oversight for both the finances related to student success and enrollment management and ensures that gift and endowed funds adhere to University of Alabama and University of Alabama System policies and addition this role ensures compliance with federal state and institutional regulations while advancing enrollment retention and student success goals.

Additional Department Summary:Collaborates with senior leadership Scholarships and Financial Aid Advancement College/School and Division leaders Finance and other campus partners to ensure scholarship strategies awards and monitoring deliver exceptional student service and meet our enrollment and retention goals as well as to ensure the gift and endowed scholarships honor donor intent regarding following identified scholarship addition to the scholarship component this role manages the finances for Enrollment Management.

Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting finance business higher education or related financial field and eight (8) years of experience in leading teams and conducting complex financial analysis; OR masters degree in accounting finance business higher education or related financial field and six (6) years of experience in leading teams and conducting complex financial analysis.

Skills and Knowledge:Strong budgetary supervisory and communication skills. Track record in complex financial analyses including scholarship budgeting. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diplomacy and tact. Excellent written verbal and public speaking skills. Ability to lead strategic planning and foster collaboration across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:CPA Certification. Experience at a complex R1 university. Experience with financial aid and scholarship analysis. Familiarity with donor-funded scholarship programs.
