The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment selection Under-Represented Groups outreach and the national career centre.

Assessment Centre Lead responsibility for all aspects of assessment ofOther Rank (OR)candidates suitability for service with the Armed Forces. | |

Manage the Assessment Centre administration estate & Development Plan ensuring H&S and welfare of all staff contractors & candidates. |
|
Oversee verification and assurance process and participate in briefing sessions assessment selection exercises and interviews of candidates. |
|
Maintain and monitor selection processes to support & inform assurance and continuous improvements. |
|
Act as member of recruitment strategy group forward planning candidate pipeline to meet tri-service demand. |
|
Ensure that all staff comply with policies and procedures to capture all required outputs within timelines. |
|
SME advisor on Officer assessment and selection pathway. |
|
Line Management and Reporting Officer responsibilities as directed. |
|
Share personal lived experience of life in the Armed Forces to engage and inform candidates. |
