Description

As a Data Center Business Development Manager professional at Honeywell based in Germany on a remote schedule your ability to drive results will be critical to Honeywells success in positioning itself as a leader in the Building Automation market. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development plans identifying new business opportunities and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the data center industry.

In this role you will impact Honeywells growth strategy by crafting and executing a roadmap that defines our future in the data center market identifying opportunities that will propel us forward and enhance our offerings in building automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute sales strategies targeting long-term growth opportunities within key verticals (e.g. Data Centers) while aligning with BAs broader business objectives.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities within assigned verticals by leveraging market insights and customer data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers partners and stakeholders to ensure Honeywells BA solutions are prioritized for strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing product management and local sales teams to align sales efforts with customer needs and market trends.
  • Engage key decision-makers to drive preference for Honeywells products and participate in networking opportunities within the industry.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by driving revenue growth and expanding Honeywells market share through effective business development.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in strategic sales or business development roles.
  • A proven track record in business development within the data center or building automation industry.
  • Knowledge of go-to-market channel strategies including direct distribution and System Integrators.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent German and English communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
