Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Attendant in Laguna Beach CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a private coastal residential and commercial real estate location you will manage access control greet residents and guests verify credentials and monitor entry points to help reduce security-related incidents. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants residents visitors vendors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification confirming authorization maintaining visitor logs issuing passes and directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
- Monitor cameras alarms intercoms and/or access control systems and report irregular activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner initiating notifications documenting actions taken and assisting with scene control as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property common areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report conditions that may impact operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of security experience is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
