Admissions Attendance and Inclusions Service
As our Elective Home Education (EHE) Advisor you will play a vital role in ensuring that the Local Authority fulfils its statutory duties for children who Electively Home Educate. You will manage the EHE process working directly with parents carers schools and partner agencies to ensure that every child receives a suitable and safe education.
This role is both varied and impactful. You will carry out targeted casework complete assessments and RAG ratings support families to engage in education and contribute to safeguarding by identifying children who may be at risk of social or educational exclusion. You will also build strong relationships with schools social care health services and crossborder authorities to ensure a seamless and supportive approach to EHE across Havering.
