Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team. As a Dietary Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the food service operations within our facility. This includes menu planning food preparation and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations.
Duties:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation and serving of meals
- Ensure compliance with all dietary guidelines regulations and safety standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Train and supervise dietary staff members
- Monitor food quality presentation and portion control
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of dietary services
Schedule Cooks to fill shifts as needed for position.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition guidelines and dietary requirements
- Proficiency in using software for managing food service operations
- Experience in menu planning cooking and catering
- Excellent interviewing leadership and hospitality management skills
- Culinary background or certification is a plus
