Job Summary
- Receive stock issue and cycle count customer and/or Vallen inventory at a customer location
- Maintain a clean organized and professional work environment
- Work 3rd shift: Sunday Thursday 10:00pm 6:30am (training Mon Fri 6:00am 2:30pm for 2 3 weeks)
- Role is temp-to-hire; reliability and dependability are essential
- Sole Vallen associate on 3rd shift after training
- Identify parts and tools; mechanical aptitude preferred
- Use computer systems including Excel catalog and two ERP systems to manage inventory
- Provide customer service in a customer-facing role
- Issue parts and supplies to customers as needed
- Assist with cycle counting and inventory maintenance
- Operate pallet jack as required
- Stock point-of-use (POU) areas with janitorial supplies; refill vending machines with tools and PPE
- Wear required PPE: steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals
- Assist with other projects as assigned
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
