Job Summary
Job Summary - Storeroom Attendant
- Perform daily receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting of inventory (customer and/or Vallen inventory)
- Maintain a professional clean and organized work environment
- Work 3rd shift hours (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am) with one mandatory weekend day; mandatory overtime currently in effect
- Train on 1st shift for one week (initially)
- Issue parts and materials to customers/employees as needed
- Assist with inventory cycle counting and general inventory management
- Assist with receiving incoming items when required
- Operate a sit-down forklift (forklift experience preferred)
- Provide customer service to internal/external customers
- Use computers for inventory and related tasks (computer experience required)
- Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Wear steel toe shoes while on the job
- Be reliable and dependable especially as the only Vallen associate on site after training
- Position is temp-to-hire with potential for permanent employment
