NorthStar Chevrolet West is seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team in Pittsburgh PA. This role involves providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with automotive parts inquiries processing orders efficiently and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented knowledgeable about automotive parts and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using inventory management systems.
- Maintain and organize parts inventory to ensure stock availability.
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to support customer needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle returns and warranty claims as per company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts or related retail environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use computer systems for inventory and order processing.
- CDK experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
