Job Summary
This is a temporary part-time position.
This position is responsible for managing inventory coordinating room assignments and ensuring optimal operations across assigned properties. The Rooms Controller works closely with on-property teams to uphold service standards streamline communication and maximize operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage room inventory and execute daily room assignments for designated properties
Coordinate closely with front office housekeeping and sales departments to ensure accurate room blocking and guest accommodation
Monitor special requests VIP arrivals and group room blocks to ensure proper execution
Analyze occupancy trends and adjust room assignments to support operational goals
Maintain consistent communication with on-property teams and APRC leadership
Accurately document daily activity and deliverables in internal systems
Identify and escalate operational issues and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field required or minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a business-related role (e.g. hotel operations inventory management business analytics or customer service)
Strong organizational analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity
Flexibility to support weekend and holiday coverage as needed
