Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) PICU Part Time (8 Shifts Month)

Dolly Parton Childrens Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join 6 pediatric critical care specialists & 3 APPs in our vibrant primarily clinical practice in Knoxville TN. Dolly Childrens a comprehensive medical center with 152 beds and more than 100 pediatric sub-specialists serves patients throughout the East Tennessee region.

The Dolly Childrens PICU is a 14-bed unit providing critical and intermediate care for medical and surgical patients from a 17-county area.

Services include CRRT acute hemodialysis iNO HFOV and pediatric ground transport. Our medical staff has a full spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists in addition to a large hospitalist service. The emergency department and urgent care facilities serve 75000 patients annually.

The ideal candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with PICU experience and hold a valid Tennessee license. Responsibilities are limited to clinical coverage of the critical care service and is a part-time position (8 shifts per month) with a variety of weekday and weekend coverage with occasional nighttime backup.
