Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Creates and ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the execution of Fast and Flawless service is paramount.
Provides timely accurate and courteous beverage service to all guests while maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.
Follows all cash handling procedures as described in department-specific cash handling procedures and internal controls.
Ensures all drink requests are properly rung on MICROS systems.
Adheres to all service standards.
Abides by all laws pertaining to the service and sale of alcoholic beverages as provided in the property alcohol management program.
Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourages others to do the same.
Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
Performs all related duties as assigned

JOB DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
The position requires 10% standing and 90% walking.
Requires some pushing and twisting.
Requires frequent bending kneeling climbing stooping and reaching above and below shoulders.
Must be able to respond to touch speech smell aural and visual cues.
Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 (ten) hours in length.
Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and mobility to move easily around the entire property.

Compensation & Schedule: .

$9.00 per hour Plus tips.
Employment Type Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday Off Thursday 7:45 pm -4:00 am Friday - Saturday 5:45 pm - 4:00 am and Sunday 7:45 pm -4:00 am

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior restaurant experience is required.
2 years of service experience is preferred.
Knowledge of all drinks recipes and garnishes.
Ability to be flexible with schedule to include nights holidays and weekends.
Follows uniform guidelines.
Clean and neat appearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
