Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access in St Augustine FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will manage access control greet guests and staff verify credentials and guide visitors to the right areas. You will monitor entry points document activity and communicate concerns to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests staff and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
- Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification and/or authorization managing visitor logs and issuing temporary credentials as required.
- Monitor entry points cameras and alarm panels for unusual activity and report maintenance or security-related concerns to site leadership per post orders.
- Respond to incidents guest complaints and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document actions taken according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies corridors amenities parking areas and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
