Job Summary
ROLE SUMMARY
Lead medical to medical communications in the field. This role considered as field base medical activities.
The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for the development ofKOLstakeholderstrategy execution ofexternal medicalengagementwith designated portfolio within Thailand
The Medical Science Liaison is also responsible forquantifying field medical impactserve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and customer insights providing requested information to HCPs as allowed by Pfizer guidance and sharing customer viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
TheMedical Science Liaison is responsible for ensuring consistency quality and compliance in execution of medical to medical initiatives and stakeholder-centric engagement.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
External Medical and Scientific engagementimplementation
Leading relationships with Health Care Professionals travelling across locations as well as providing support virtually.
Gaining deep understanding of Health Care Professional needs sharing expert medical advice tailoring data delivering medical to medical activities connecting them to relevant internal Pfizer people whenever they need it.
Provide objective and scientifically medical information regarding Pfizers product portfolio and the diseases states treated. Incorporating the use of educational programs outcome and other tools which identify for improving patient care.
Develop monitor and report KPIs in relation to field-based medical activity
External CollaborationProjects:
Ensure timely and efficient communicationtocomplete required internal/externalprocess including system administration maintain good documentation tracking paymentmaterialanddrug shipment in a timely manner.
Pfizer-SponsoredResearch and Investigator-Sponsored Research:
Coordinating with Medical Affairs Manager and/or other medical colleagues for medical stakeholder engagement in research and ensure compliance of operational requirements
Training and Development
Capability development building high performance field medical team enhancing sharing of best practice and cross-BU/cross-functional collaborations
Ensure capability (excluding scientific knowledge) related to field medical execution quality of operation and compliance
Solicit and consolidate feedback from external and internal stakeholders in relation to team effectiveness quantify and communicate the value and effectiveness of field-based medical activities
Other Medical Affairs projects as defined by the Country Medical Lead
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Medical or advanced degree in Biological Sciences or Healthcare-related filed (e.g. Medicine Dentistry Veterinary Medicine Pharmacy Nursing Medical Technology Optometry etc.)
- Industry clinical research or academic experience; with track record of publications preferred
- Knowledge of clinical research and clinical development processes desirable
- Experience in field-based medical role clinical affairs regulatory affairs or field interaction in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
