The Director of Environmental Services leads plans and coordinates all aspects of Environmental Services operations ensuring high standards of customer service quality and regulatory compliance (OSHA Joint Commission Infection Control). This role is critically responsible for comprehensivefiscal and financial management including budget development operational planning and efficient resource allocation to maintain the department budget. The Director provides strategic leadership manages personnel and oversees equipment and supply acquisition. Accurately gathers interprets and analyzes diverse data sets to inform strategic decisions and optimize operations. Fosters ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians associate providers department staff and multidisciplinary team members. Supports and upholds Mayo Clinics mission vision and values.
Five years of clinical/technical experience in Healthcare Environmental Services required. Bachelors degree preferred. Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional through the American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services or eligible. Leadership experience in diverse 24/7 operations required. Experience in healthcare accreditation requirements for the Environment of Care (Joint Commission DMV ACHC) is preferred.
